Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you will have unprecedented control over your disability funding support. Plan Management is one of the options under the NDIS from which you can choose when managing your NDIS Funds. How to manage your NDIS funds is an important decision, but one that gives you choice and control.
Do I need a Plan Manager?
A Plan Manager can help with the financial tasks of your NDIS plan and give you the freedom to make all the choices without the hassle of managing the paperwork yourself.
There are no out-of-pocket costs to you for having a Plan Manager, and choosing this option also gives you access to a greater range of services and supports (access to NDIS registered providers as well as unregistered providers).
How do I get Plan Management as part of my NDIS plan?
If you decide that you would like your NDIS plan managed by a registered third party provider, you will need to request this at your NDIS planning meeting with the agency, or during any period of time for which your plan is in effect.
