Course information
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who participate in a range of routine hospitality work activities.
In this course you will receive:
- Adventure Based team building activity
- Practical work experience in the commercial kitchen at ‘The Bush Pantry’
- In-class tutorial support for learners
- Industry qualified trainer
- Pathway to further study or work placement in the hospitality industry
Start date:
First intake: 15th February 2018
Second intake: 7th March 2018
Training hours:
First intake 9:00am-2:00pm, Thursday & Friday
Second intake 9:00am-2:00pm Wednesday & Friday
Length: 7 weeks. Training will be delivered in a blended delivery model, face to face in class and practical within the commercial kitchen ‘The Bush Pantry’ located in Myhorizon.
Location: Myhorizon, 1-15A Runnymede Road Capalaba Qld 4157
Cost: This ‘Skilling Queenslanders for Work’ (SQW) project is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government. Funding is available for eligible participants. The cost for eligible participants is $50. Students are provided with a $40 fuel credit or govia credit, and a light snack to start the day.
