Myhorizon's Employment & Training service is accepting applications to enrol in our Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) - CHC33015 (Second Intake)
Course information
Description: This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community or a residential care setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require it due to disability, illness or injury. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support delivery as well as taking responsibility for individual outputs.
To achieve this qualification the student must also complete at least 120 hours of work placement.
Start date: Mon 16 April 2018
Training hours: 8:45am-3pm, Mon-Wed
Length: 15 weeks inclass training
Location: Myhorizon, 1-15A Runnymede Road Capalaba Qld 4157
Cost: This ‘Skilling Queenslanders for Work’ (SQW) project is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government. Funding is available for eligible participants – please enquire.
Participants must be:
• Queensland residents
• aged 15 years or older
• an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant), temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on a pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen. *
